Finding a place to go hike can sometimes be the most exhausting part. That's crazy!

What we have found is that trail maps on community-based trail apps often lack attention to detail. 

This often results in multiple, manageable trails being misrepresented as only one very long and demanding trail. 

 For us, that's not only frustrating, but it mandates an unnecessary expenditure of emotional labor. Not Cool. 

How are you supposed to FIND a system of trails and PLAN the specific hike you want to go enjoy when you cannot trust that what you're seeing is actually representative of what's available to you?

We'll say it again...

This whole thing is just crazy.

 The good news is, it doesn't have to be that hard. And that's where we come in... 

The problem isn't the community-based trail apps. It's the lacking detail given by the community. 

We get that though! The community is out there to hike and enjoy nature, not to work and create detailed maps after the fact.

That's why we do it for you. This work is our passion and we have a lot of fun doing it! 

Our mapping efforts are one of the primary ways that we make it easier for people to get outside and connect with nature.
